We are proud to announce that StormGeo’s headquarters in Bergen, Norway, is certified in ISO 14001, an environmental standard for organizations that wants to enhance their environmental performance.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) aims to facilitate and support national and international trade and commerce by developing standards that people everywhere can recognize and respect. ISO standards are a crucial part of our society as they ensure quality and safety in products and services within international trade. In addition, businesses can be seen to benefit from ISO standards, as they help cut costs by improved systems and procedures put in place.
The ISO 14001 standard, specifically, is an environmental standard specifying the requirements of an environmental management system. It is intended for use by organizations wanting to manage their environmental responsibilities in a way that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
At StormGeo, 75% of the work we do is on the ocean.
