About the Role

As a member of our dynamic team, you'll play a vital role in providing essential weather support to various industries, including offshore oil and gas, renewable energy, shipping, aviation, and road operations. Your work will be integral to helping our clients make informed decisions that ensure the safety and efficiency of their operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform forecasting tasks based on customer needs and demands, as outlined in the checklist provided for each shift/duty

  • Handle customer and media requests following StormGeo routines for communication

  • Utilize project time/office hours for self-education and completion of additional tasks or responsibilities assigned, such as sales support, verification issues, and report writing

  • Foster a positive company culture by promoting good communication and information flow among departments, offices, and employees

Core Requirements

  • Education
    • Master’s degree in meteorology, oceanography or equivalent
    • Passed internal or external training, and checked out on training checklist
    • Participate in regular training program / refresher courses
  • Language
    • Read, speak and write English
