About the job 

As a Solution Sales Expert on Fleet Performance Management (FPM) you will manage FPM client relationships. In this senior position, you will represent the FPM business and products in sales meetings with clients and report findings and advise on improvement actions. The overall responsibility of the Solution Expert on Fleet Performance Management is to understand client needs and provide input to developers for product customization.  You will always review the monitoring processes verifying the reported data and enhancing environmental awareness. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Be part and work closely with both the North Asia  and Global sales team,  
  • Develop qualified Fleet Performance Management leads and achieve sales targets 
  • Represent StormGeo FPM related solutions and business in sales meetings with clients (in Ship technical performance, emissions monitoring, CII etc) 
  • Find patterns and draw conclusions on improvement levers for shipping companies based on data analysis 
  • Report findings and advise on improvement actions in written form or in direct client meetings/workshops 
  • Collaborate with other sales expert teams within StormGeo to cross-sell & upsell solutions 
  • Understand client needs and provide input to developers for product customization  
  • Manage client projects including training with new customers 
  • Work with the Fleet Performance Management delivery teams for client project setup 

Core Requirements 

  • Expertise demonstrated in solution sales within the shipping industry, particularly focusing on Fleet Performance Management and energy efficiency 
  • Strong service mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to customers, along with excellent skills in managing client relationships and a proven track record of successful client engagements 
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of modern IT technology relevant to the industry, complemented by a background in nautical, marine engineering, naval architecture, software engineering, or a similar technical field 
  • Exhibits a business-oriented approach, capable of aligning strategies with organizational goals, while also displaying energy and motivation to collaborate closely with sales team members 
  • Ability to support management teams in developing short and long-term organizational visions 
  • Comfortable addressing both strategic questions and daily tactical issues, providing hands-on support to the site organization 
  • Initiative-driven individual who takes charge and propels projects forward 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with fluency in English 
  • Displays a willingness to travel for client visits or training purposes as required by an international company with global clients
